Kewaunee County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, pull an official booking record, or decide whether a warrant is active. Contact the responsible public office directly for those matters.

Official Kewaunee County Contacts

Use the contact that matches the record or question. The Sheriff is the local route for a current county-jail question and for a request for a county-created booking record. The Clerk handles public court-file questions, including later case activity and disposition. Neither route is a promise that every requested record is available or unredacted.

The Sheriff publishes no fixed booking-record or photo fee and no fixed turnaround time. A written request should identify the person, approximate event date, agency, and record requested, then ask for an estimate and any releasability determination. Wisconsin’s Public Records Law, including Wis. Stat. § 19.35, uses the standard of responding as soon as practicable and without delay rather than a fixed statewide deadline.

The Clerk maintains public court files and is the local source for case events, court copies, judgments, bail-bond matters, and warrant entries or vacaturs. The office is not the custodian of a Sheriff booking photo. For a possible warrant, use WCCA as an initial public case search and confirm directly with the Clerk or Sheriff. The Sheriff bail page also lists a Clerk number for its payment context, so confirm current routing before making a time-sensitive payment.

Choose the Right Record Route

These channels serve different purposes. A reported arrest, an open court case, a custody alert, and state-prison placement are not the same record.

  • For an immediate safety emergency, call 911. For urgent non-emergency assistance, use Sheriff dispatch at (920) 388-7108.
  • For a current county jail custody question or a county booking record, use the Sheriff contacts above.
  • For a court case, a filed disposition, or public court-file information, use Wisconsin Circuit Court Access and the Kewaunee Clerk.
  • For qualifying custody notifications, use Wisconsin VINE. It is not a Sheriff roster or warrant portal.
  • For a person sentenced to Wisconsin state prison or on DOC supervision, use the Wisconsin DOC locator, not the county jail channel.
  • To provide non-emergency public-safety information, use the Sheriff’s online Crime Tips form. It permits anonymous submissions.
